Information about accommodations in London-Hotels hostels Bed
and Breakfast innns
London
hotels are world famous for their friendly service and pleasant
atmosphere. Rates vary considerably and are more expensive in the West
End than in the outer edges of London such as Willesden in the NW of
London or Finsbury Park and Camden in North London. However, budget
accommodation can be found in more central areas such as Bayswater or
Earls Court.
Prices (in June) can range from around £12 per night for a bed in a
hostel type dormitory room without breakfast and possibly sharing a
bathroom to almost £400 per night for a room at Claridges, which is
still the smartest hotel in town. Other top of the range 5 star hotels
such as The Savoy, The Ritz and Berkeley are equally fine and charge
similar prices. In these hotels the rooms are large and gracious and you
will be treated royally.
However, other 5 star hotels can be found for less money, such as Grange
Holborn London and Grange City London which charge just over £160 pounds
per night in June for a double room. 4 and 3 star hotels can be found
for around £ 200 such as Charlotte Street Hotel in W1 or the Park Lodge
Hotel in Bayswater for around £100 or less. 2 star hotels abound in
areas like Bayswater, Marylebone, Victoria, Kings Cross and Notting Hill
for around £50 per night. However some excellent 2 star hotels are run
by the Regent Palace Hotels groups and are very central and extremely
reasonably priced
.Try The Somerset in a quiet square close to Baker Street underground

their prime location and offer good rates of £95 for a double room in
June.
