Traditional cuisine of Kalymnos

Try "mousouri" - stuffed lamb oven-cooked in an earthen pot, mostly on Easter. The "'ptazimo" (bread kneaded in anise and ouzo), "phyla" (also known as "dolmades", stuffed vine leaves), "mirmizeli" (barley flour bread kneaded in olive oil, tomato and cheese), "anama" (celebrated local wine), octopus on the charcoal grill, fish and spinialo (sea food in a rich lemon sauce) and traditional "galaktoboureko"(cream pastry) for desert.
