Kalymnos the island of the sponge divers. Very near to Kos and Leros ,Kalymnos is an island with a wild beauty ,mostly rocky and mountainous with the exceptions of the villages Masouri and Vathy, the small island of Telendos and some parts of its capital Pothia.The most tourist areas are at the north of the island at Masouri Myrties and Telendos.Very near to Kalymnos is the small islet of Pserimos that you can visit by daily trips with local boats.Kalymnos is ideal for rock clibing and diving.The island has daily connections to Kos about 45 minutes trip by hydrofoils and Leros as well with the other islands of the Dodecanese.
